Nathan L. Burrow

Nathan L. Burrow is originally from Madison, Mississippi. He graduated from the University of Mississippi, and earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law. While in law school he served as an Associate Articles Editor for the Mississippi Law Journal. Following graduation, Nathan clerked for Chief U.S. Magistrate Judge John M. Roper in the Southern District of Mississippi. He then entered private practice in Gulfport, MS, where he practiced extensively in the areas of insurance defense, workers’ compensation defense, labor and employment law, and medical malpractice defense.

Nathan joined DeLashmet & Marchand, P.C. in 2018. He is licensed to practice in both Mississippi and Alabama. He currently enjoys a varied defense practice including general liability defense, trucking and transportation litigation, and the defense of employers and carriers under the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Act and Alabama Workers’ Compensation Act. He is also a frequent speaker on the topic of workers’ compensation practice and procedure. He is an active member of the Harrison County Bar Association, Jackson County Bar Association, Mobile Bar Association, Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association, and Russell-Blass-Walker Chapter of American Inns of Court. He holds an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Nathan resides in Pascagoula, MS with his wife, Laura, and their children, Alice Kate and Landry. He and his family are members of First Presbyterian Church. In his spare time, Nathan enjoys supporting the Ole Miss Rebels and the New Orleans Saints.
